We hope you are well. Rob and I just wanted to drop you a quick email just to say a huge thank you for making our day so special and amazing! Everything ran so smoothly and flowed so well, all of our guests commented on how spectacular and fairy tale like it was! Even my mum and sister said that the weddings they plan in Cyprus are nowhere near as wonderful as mine was! You are amazing at your job and would highly recommend you!

Hi Pam.

I wanted to write and thank you for making Ruth and Dean’s wedding day so special and memorable on 5th June. You worked incredibly hard on the day and I know a lot of time was also spent beforehand on planning and making sure everything went the way they wanted and we really appreciated it. It was a magical day from beginning to end and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, in fact I think it was all a dream!
Please also thank the photographer for spending a long day (and evening) taking photographs, he seemed to have an endless amount of energy. We are so looking forward to seeing his amazing photos of the incredible day.
We loved visiting Malcesine and hope to return one day for a more leisurely stay, it’s a fantastic place and everyone was so friendly. We now understand why they chose this stunning venue.

I wanted to say a massive thank you to Pam for making our big day in April 2014 the magical day it was. We found Malcesine Castle when looking for the top romantic places to get married. When looking at the pictures online we instantly knew Italy, Malcesine was ‘the place’ we wanted. I did some research online and came across Romantic Weddings in Lake Garda and after exchanging emails and further research we decided Pam was the one to help organise our big day. We were a little dubious on whether we could trust a complete stranger to arrange everything we wanted and it being right. We needn’t have been as concerned as Pam seemed to have everything under control and made us feel like we were totally involved with the arrangements with constant updates. I sent pictures and told her a budget and she came back to me with what was available. It seemed so easy, we choose what we wanted and nothing seemed to be a problem. Pam was with us the whole day and made sure everything ran smoothly. Pam gave us a list of restaurants, our reception at the restaurant was wonderful, amazing food, lovely atmosphere, and beautiful views of the lake next to the Castle. I sent a picture of the flowers I wanted and the florist did an amazing job. I was very apprehensive about my hair! I’m very fussy and have always stuck with the same hairdresser. I never usually have my hair up and knew if my hair wasn’t right I wouldn’t feel right on the day. Pam assured me she recommends this hairdresser and the work she does is remarkable…..AND IT WAS! I loved it! My wedding cake was beautiful and really was the most fabulous cake I have ever eaten. I wanted to say a huge thank you to our photographer. The photos are just beautiful and captured our day perfectly. He got all the shots with the most breath taking views. I can’t tell you how great they are!! Thank you.

To Pam and .We both want to thank you for a truly magical and amazing wedding day. Everything went so smoothly and I had absolutely no stress on the day whatsoever! Everything from the flowers, the car, the boat and especially the band MG Project were of the top quality. The band especially impressed us and any doubts we had quickly went away the moment they started to perform. All of our friends and family have told us that our wedding was the best they have ever been to. Pam your attention to detail was impressive, you sorted every request even down to wheelchair hire for my nan. I have nothing but positive comments and would always highly recommend your services to anyone wishing to marry at one of the most romantic and special locations in Italy. My new husband and I have just returned from our wedding in Malcesine,  planned and organised by Pam at Romantic Weddings on Lake Garda and words escape us to describe how truly amazing our wedding day was….OMG! and WOW! don’t even do it justice!
All our friends and family who came to the wedding (there were 43 of us in total) said that the day was ‘amazing’ ‘just perfect’ and they had never experienced a wedding like it!
From the moment we met Pam on a holiday in Malcesine 1.5 years ago we knew that she was the perfect person to organise our wedding. She is very friendly, professional and extremely helpful with everything . From recommending places to stay, restaurants to eat, places to go …. As well making suggestions about all the options available to us and arranging everything to do with the wedding. Nothing is too much trouble and she makes you feel like you are her only client. A truly personal service. We could not have done it without her! With her local knowledge and relationship with local suppliers it guarantees an amazing day totally tailored to your requirements and personality!
When I said that I preferred someone to come to my hotel to do my hair and make up Pam recommended UK based hair and make up artist Kay Spaven who flies out to Italy to do weddings…and I couldn’t recommend her more! I had my trial with Kay in the UK and not only is she very talented but she is a lovely lady and made me and my mum, mother on law and bridesmaids all feel v relaxed the morning of the wedding… As well as making us all look beautiful!
The photographer is a great guy and brilliant photographer and makes the whole experience of having your photos taken (which could be very painful!)  a very enjoyable one! Even some of our most stubborn guests (when it comes to photo tolerance) enjoyed having their photo taken and rose to the occasion!! It was great having the engagement photos beforehand. The end results are amazing and we couldn’t be happier with all of the photos! We had total faith in him on the day and him and Pam make a great team!
The couple of days before the wedding we took family and friends to Stube Speke (a fab outdoor BBQ experience) and Al Cervo (beautiful Italian restaurant in a lovely setting g owned by La Pace owners) – both of which we thoroughly recommend.
Malcesine is a beautiful backdrop for a wedding. We had the service on the terrace at the castle, arriving with my father by tuc tuc with the crowds cheering was a fab experience! After photos we went to La Pace in the old harbour for Prosecco and canopes, and Al and I surprised the wedding party by catching a speed boat and after a 20min spin arriving in the harbour! Much to everyone’s amusement! It was also great for Al and I to get some time to ourselves and to cool down!
We then took all the wedding party on a boat trip and had a fantastic 45 min trip round the lake with more Prosecco! This was a great opportunity to catch up with everyone, see the sites and for everyone to cool down!
We then all walked up from the harbour to the Vecchia Malcesine where we had our wedding breakfast and evening do. This is an amazing place – the setting, the service and the food couldn’t be faulted! It definitely deserves it’s Michelin Star rating! They tailored the menu to our requirements and we had delicious canopes with more Prosecco on arrival! After the meal we had a DJ recommended and sourced by Pam who played all our favourite songs we had requested on the playlist, with everyone boogieing on the dance floor!
Both Pam and our photographer stayed with us all day, and were able to join us for a drink at Bar Oasi at the very end of the evening – the perfect ending to a magical day! This also meant that the photographer was able to some amazing evening photos of us.
What we got for our budget far exceeded anything we could have got in the Uk! I would recommend it to everyone!!
Thank you so much Pam for making our day  so amazing! Those happy memories will last a lifetime! We plan to be back for our Anniversaries so will see you again !

We can’t say enough good things about what a great job Pam did planning our wedding. It was absolutely perfect. We live in the US and decided at the last minute to get married during an already planned trip to Italy. We spoke with Pam for the first time a week before we were to leave for Italy (2 weeks before our wedding day) and told her what we wanted. She confirmed the date and time of the wedding venue on Monday morning. A week later, we met her in person, viewed Malcesine Castle, planned the entire ceremony, and toured and chose the venue for cocktails and dinner. What really impressed us with Pam during our in-person meeting was how knowledgeable and well acquainted she was with the area and different vendors. She seemed to know everyone in town. She took us to several different potential reception venues plans for both outdoor and indoor options for (in climate weather). She helped guide us through the planning of the entire ceremony (where I was going to change, where I would walk, how and who I was going to walk down the aisle since I had no immediate family present, potential readings, organization of the ceremony, reception, pictures, dinner, etc.). We spent 3-4 hours with Pam that day and had the entire wedding planned down to the last detail by the end of the day. The best part was that we felt that we had a wedding customized just for us. It was all about what we wanted and how we wanted to do things (with helpful suggestions and guidance from Pam). There were a couple more emails with Pam over the course of the week and then the wedding day. The weather decided to be cold and rainy for the wedding day, and Pam didn’t miss a step. She brought plenty of beautiful white umbrellas, bows, etc. She was completely prepared to move the ceremony to an indoor room in the castle, and had the bar set up everything for cocktails and dinner inside two private rooms upstairs. We had a professional photographer and a violinist for the ceremony. All of our wedding guests were Italian so Pam translated the ceremony into Italian so that they would understand what was being said. This meant so much to them. All my guests commented on what a great job Pam did. They were so impressed and thankful for all her hard work. Rick and I could be happier with how everything went. Pam stayed until we were all settled in for dinner. She made sure my belonging were moved to our dinner location and that everything was taken care of before leaving. Thank you for planning the wedding of our dreams.

Many thanks Pam, for all your help in making our Wedding day so amazing, we cannot thank you enough.  Your attention to detail was remarkable and ensured every little detail was perfect, you really did think of everything!! From the ivory umbrellas to the ring cushion and reading our vows for us, we didn’t need to worry about a thing! 
The day ran so smoothly and everybody commented on the remarkable service provided and how lovely and friendly you are Pam, we all have nothing but praise for all your hard work and we would not hesitate to recommend ‘romanticweddingsonlakegarda’ to anybody.    
We really cannot thank you enough and we know that we would never have had our fairy tale wedding without your help, we wouldn’t have known where to start.  Your professionalism is second to none, with such a personal approach.  From our very first contact with you, we knew romanticweddingsonlakegarda was the right company for us and that you were the lady to make it all happen. 
Another big thanks to the photographer, who was fantastic and put us at ease straight away.  He worked tirelessly and simply never stopped, his hard work has produced the most amazing photos and memories of our special day, we couldn’t have wished for anymore and cannot thank him enough!!
We got married on the outside terrace at Malcesine castle, a setting which is so intimate with breath taking scenery to make the most stunning photos with so much character.  After photographs we went down to La Pace for canapes and drinks before taking a boat trip.  Later we walked through the cobbled streets with all our guests to Al Corsaro where we held our reception and evening meal.  Al Corsaro has the most stunning decor and is set right on the lake with beautiful views.  The staff at Al Corsaro were fabulous, everything we had asked had been done and the food was amazing.  All of our guests commented that the food was the best they had all tasted in Malcesine.  At last, the Wedding cake –  we choose mille foglie, which was so delicious, the best cake we have ever tasted.  
Everything was perfect, so intimate, beautiful and so different to anything we could have had back at home, we loved every minute of our day, it was magical.  So, once again a massive thank you ~  Our Wedding Day couldn’t have gone any better and that was thanks to you.

To our dearest Pam and Francesco, Well… what can we say that could possibly justify how wonderfully magical our wedding day was; which was largely due to you guys! We booked our wedding through Thomas Cook who were incredibly attentive until we paid them!!! Thomas Cook asked us to choose three dates and a time preference for our wedding day and they would come back to us to confirm which date was available. Eventually they contacted us to advise that they had ‘pencilled’ our wedding date and time in for Monday 10th September 2012 at 5pm but could not confirm this 100% as this might change…. This immediately made me feel very anxious and it only got worse. Although we couldn’t understand why they couldn’t confirm it for us, we just wanted to get on and start making other arrangements such as photography, flowers and all the other bits you associate with a wedding. When we approached Thomas Cook to help us with these elements we were given what looked to be out of date information that just didn’t fill either of us with confidence. Further to this we were told that we would only review the information now and we would book it when we arrived in resort 9 days before the wedding was due to take place. I have never planned a wedding before, but I thought that this was surely not right and a very risky way to plan and organise all the things that I had already spent so much time thinking about. With this I took to Google and kept coming across a lady called Pam. There were great reviews on Trip Advisor and I eventually found the website address for Romantic Weddings on Lake Garda. Hallelujah!! Well… let’s just say since then we never looked back. From the very first moment we contacted you it was very clear that you had our best interests at heart. You are an incredible people person who genuinely has a passion for what you do. You always look for the best in a situation and this coupled with your professionalism and personable approach meant that our wedding day was planned and executed to perfection. We really wouldn’t have been able to pull it off without your help and support and we are endlessly grateful to you… There wasn’t a thing we would have changed…. Well maybe a few extra hours in the day so we could have continued the celebrations J Moving our attentions to the wonderfully talented Francesco for a moment; you really have given us the most precious memories from our wedding day and we will cherish them forever. I (like so many others) criticise every photograph of myself and am definitely my own worst critic. However, when we started to look through the photographs I found myself saying OMG, look at me I look great ha ha! This was of course through a waterfall of tears as I couldn’t quite believe just how wonderful our wedding day was and how lucky we were to find such amazingly talented people to share this with us. What more can I say… Grazie, grazie, grazie!! We would also like to thank Sergio and his team at La Pace for providing wonderful food and drinks, if you’re looking for a beautiful setting right by the lake with a chilled ambience this is the place to be. The food is authentic Italian and is served in abundance. I really could have done with loosening my dress at one point, but the food was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating. Everyone in the wedding party was equally as pleased as us and agreed that this was some of the best food in town. Not forgetting Sergio driving us to the castle in the incredibly sweet Tuk Tuk. He was also kind enough to do a couple of extra trips to get my grandparents as close to the castle as possible and back down to the restaurant as my granddad had trouble walking at the time. The girls and I would also like to thank TT and Jackie for doing an amazing job with our hair and make-up and for making us feel so welcome and at ease the morning of the wedding. My mum did a total U-turn and decided that instead of having her hair straight and no make-up she would have a full hair-up do and make-up…. Suffice to say the ladies were more than happy to help. I also had a hair and make-up trial a few days before which was great. Also to the lady who did my manicure and pedicure, it was very well done and I will be sure to book her again when I go back. In fact I think I will go the whole hog and have my nails, hair and make up done just for the hell of it!! Pam… you can hook me up right? The videographer comes highly recommended and I would also advise that you get the video edited to music. We didn’t actually do this as we were going do this together when we got home, a little project after the wedding. However, to date we have still not done it and have subsequently seen a video which he produced of our wedding for Pam’s website and it is fab! Makes me cry every time I watch it. We got married on the terrace and it is simply stunning, we chose to get married at 5pm as we thought it would be starting to cool down at this time, but actually it was probably the hottest part of the day. I was a little worried about how the day was going to run and how guests were going to know where to be at each stage of the day, but I needn’t have worried as Pam had it all covered… She really was AMAZING. If you have any concerns no matter how big or small discuss them with Pam and she will be sure to put your mind at ease. Our family and friends were blown away by the level dedication shown by both Pam and Francesco… they worked tirelessly to make everything perfect and as the day progressed it was as if they had become part of the family. Well, we are now 9 months on and still have the most incredible memories… our guests still talk about ‘thee’ day and we all agree it was the best wedding day ever, so one last time…. Grazie Pam e Francesco…. We were planning to come back for our first wedding anniversary in September but have recently discovered we are expecting a baby, so it’s off the cards this year, but we will be sure to visit with the bambino and have Francesco take some wonderful photos for us J In the meantime buona fortuna (good luck) to everyone planning their wedding. Hi Pam , I want to express my sincere gratitude to you after our recent trip to Malcesine to plan our wedding. Everything was amazing, and will be amazing for next year and that is down to YOU!! From the first email I sent I knew Romantic Weddings was who I wanted to plan my wedding with. No questions are left unanswered, no query is too big or small. Pam you’re a lovely lady who is very endearing and helpful, so THANK YOU! You gave us your time to show us the castle, various reception venues, we even heard our wedding band play….and for the photo shoot, the photos are brilliant and that’s down to the photographer guidance, which we really appreciated. The response from family and friends was brilliant!! Thank you so much and we can’t wait until August 2013.
