Drena

Drena is an unspoilt little village half way up the mountain side overlooking the Sarca Valley and the Marocche glacial landslide, just 4km from Lake Cavedine and 15 km from Riva, on Lake Garda. Drena castle dominates the town and the views from its rustic tower are spectacular. The town itself dates back to prehistoric times, but its character comes from Roman and Medieval times when the castle was built to defend its inhabitants. You have a real feel for Italian life and traditions here. For those who want a romantic wedding ceremony away from the bustle of the lake and to take their guests on a journey back in time… this is the place for you.

There are three ceremony locations in the castle of Drena, two outside and one inside. Choose between a beautiful courtyard, a green lawn with a back drop of the walls of the castle and a rustic intimate inside room, all with fabulous views from wherever you look. There is also the possibilty to have celebratory drinks and nibbles in the castle grounds after the ceremony, with the options of using a quaint taverna situated under the ceremony room or outside in the courtyard.
