Garda

Garda is a very pretty town, tucked into a small sheltered bay near the south end of Lake Garda, after which it was named. It is full of narrow cobbled streets opening onto quaint little squares and overlooked by graceful Venetian villas.
It has a long wide lakeside promenade with open air restaurants, lively bars and colourful ice cream cafès for you to enjoy.
Picture yourselves enjoying a romantic candlelit dinner or relaxing with a drink or two as you sit by the lakeside and watch the sun setting on the clear blue waters of Lake Garda. In the evenings the town livens up with the promenade buzzing with people.
Walking along the lakeside path to the end of the bay you’ll come to Punta San Vigilio, one of the most romantic places on the lake and one of the best views! Sir Winston Churchill often holidayed here often to persue his passion for painting. The famous vineyards and town of Bardolino are just a 45 min walk along the promenade from the centre of Garda in the opposite direction.

Weddings in Garda are held in the beautifully restored oak beamed Villa Carlotta, in a little square in the centre of the town, just metres away from the lake. There are steps leading up into the villa, perfect for photos afterwards!
The villa’s ceremony room seats 30 people comfortably, with room for other guests to stand.
