We wish to give a huge thank you to Pam for organising our dream wedding in Malcesine this summer. We first visited in 2013 to meet Pam whos personal approach and friendliness & huge enthusiasm immediately put us at ease & we left from that trip feeling very content & excited, especially given that we wanted a catholic wedding in the church & one of us not catholic – no mean feat & without Pam it simply would not have been possible. This allowed us to return to the UK knowing everything was in the best of hands. Whilst on this visit, Pam’s photographer did a photo shoot near the castle & town as an engagement album – a nice touch. We were also shown around many wonderful restaurants, bars and hotels not just for the wedding but for ideas for the rest of the wedding trip to take our family & guests to. We opted for the Hotel Excelsior Bay for the whole party to both stay & have our reception & meal – a perfect spot on the lake & near all amenities. Once back in the UK, Pam was very easy to contact and liaise with and the attention to detail on everything from seating plans, menus, canapés to flowers, wedding cake & hairdressers was excellent. We arrived back in Italy in 2014 a few days before the wedding and met Pam who took us through all the legal stuff including meeting our English speaking priest who was wonderful. We then went to each venue to finalise all the small details including a boat ride after the lakeside canapés which would be dropping us off right by our hotel ready for the reception & meal. The hotel itself was perfect, friendly & professional. This allowed us to relax with our family & guests as much as possible in the intervening days with the big day itself going as smooth as possible giving us both the best day of our lives in beautiful surroundings from the church to the castle (where we had further wonderful pictures taken ) to the lakeside canapés setting, the amazing boat ride & back to our perfect intimate reception & dinner at the hotel. All our guests enjoyed the experience thoroughly from the wedding day itself to how organized & efficient all the other nights were planned with great venues to eat at – including fine dining at Re Lear! Malcesine really is the dream setting for a wedding & Pam the perfect planner!
