We are still on cloud nine following our amazing wedding on Monday 9 July 2012, organised by Pam and the team at Romantic Weddings on Lake Garda.
From the outset, Pam spent time finding out about us and the kind of ceremony we wanted. The level of service we received throughout was absolutely outstanding.
Pam is a true professional and nothing was too much trouble, as our example will show. When thinking about what music to have at our ceremony we remembered seeing two musicians playing the acoustic guitar in one of the squares but didn’t remember which one or who they were. Not only did Pam know who we meant she even managed to track them down – no mean feat considering they go abroad for the winter months! They played at our wedding ceremony and were a real highlight of the day – we are so grateful that Pam was willing and able to make it this happen for us and it was such a personal touch.
In the run up to our wedding, friends and colleagues commented on how relaxed we both were – this was down to the knowledge that Pam had everything organised. The whole day from start to finish went extremely smoothly; we were able to relax safe in the knowledge that Pam had everything under control and we were able to devote our time to enjoying ourselves with our wedding guests.
We must say a special mention to Francesco, our lovely photographer. Not only does he really know his craft, he was friendly and really made us feel comfortable in front of the lens. And the resulting photographs are just stunning and really captured the feel of the day and the beautiful scenery; we are thrilled with them.
If you are not sure about who to go with, or are in two minds about the location, I would recommend you go out to beautiful Malcesine and meet with Pam in person. We arranged a trip to Malcesine in August 2011 and a meeting with Pam. The minute we met her we knew she was the one for us: enthusiastic and professional (and with great taste in cocktails!) Pam seemed to know all of the restaurateurs, bar owners and service providers in town and was able to make good suggestions and alternatives based on what we wanted.
‘Romantic Weddings on Lake Garda’ is obviously a very popular choice and although Pam must be very busy we never once felt that we were just ‘one of many’: she was always available, responded promptly to my (many!) questions and overall gave us a really personal service.
Pam’s expertise plus Malcesine’s people, weather and culture make for a winning combination – we truly had a day we will never forget and our wedding guests are still talking about it! Thank you again Pam – and hopefully see you next year to help us arrange our first wedding anniversary party in Malcesine!
