To our dearest Pam and Francesco, Well… what can we say that could possibly justify how wonderfully magical our wedding day was; which was largely due to you guys! We booked our wedding through Thomas Cook who were incredibly attentive until we paid them!!! Thomas Cook asked us to choose three dates and a time preference for our wedding day and they would come back to us to confirm which date was available. Eventually they contacted us to advise that they had ‘pencilled’ our wedding date and time in for Monday 10th September 2012 at 5pm but could not confirm this 100% as this might change…. This immediately made me feel very anxious and it only got worse. Although we couldn’t understand why they couldn’t confirm it for us, we just wanted to get on and start making other arrangements such as photography, flowers and all the other bits you associate with a wedding. When we approached Thomas Cook to help us with these elements we were given what looked to be out of date information that just didn’t fill either of us with confidence. Further to this we were told that we would only review the information now and we would book it when we arrived in resort 9 days before the wedding was due to take place. I have never planned a wedding before, but I thought that this was surely not right and a very risky way to plan and organise all the things that I had already spent so much time thinking about. With this I took to Google and kept coming across a lady called Pam. There were great reviews on Trip Advisor and I eventually found the website address for Romantic Weddings on Lake Garda. Hallelujah!! Well… let’s just say since then we never looked back. From the very first moment we contacted you it was very clear that you had our best interests at heart. You are an incredible people person who genuinely has a passion for what you do. You always look for the best in a situation and this coupled with your professionalism and personable approach meant that our wedding day was planned and executed to perfection. We really wouldn’t have been able to pull it off without your help and support and we are endlessly grateful to you… There wasn’t a thing we would have changed…. Well maybe a few extra hours in the day so we could have continued the celebrations J Moving our attentions to the wonderfully talented Francesco for a moment; you really have given us the most precious memories from our wedding day and we will cherish them forever. I (like so many others) criticise every photograph of myself and am definitely my own worst critic. However, when we started to look through the photographs I found myself saying OMG, look at me I look great ha ha! This was of course through a waterfall of tears as I couldn’t quite believe just how wonderful our wedding day was and how lucky we were to find such amazingly talented people to share this with us. What more can I say… Grazie, grazie, grazie!! We would also like to thank Sergio and his team at La Pace for providing wonderful food and drinks, if you’re looking for a beautiful setting right by the lake with a chilled ambience this is the place to be. The food is authentic Italian and is served in abundance. I really could have done with loosening my dress at one point, but the food was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating. Everyone in the wedding party was equally as pleased as us and agreed that this was some of the best food in town. Not forgetting Sergio driving us to the castle in the incredibly sweet Tuk Tuk. He was also kind enough to do a couple of extra trips to get my grandparents as close to the castle as possible and back down to the restaurant as my granddad had trouble walking at the time. The girls and I would also like to thank TT and Jackie for doing an amazing job with our hair and make-up and for making us feel so welcome and at ease the morning of the wedding. My mum did a total U-turn and decided that instead of having her hair straight and no make-up she would have a full hair-up do and make-up…. Suffice to say the ladies were more than happy to help. I also had a hair and make-up trial a few days before which was great. Also to the lady who did my manicure and pedicure, it was very well done and I will be sure to book her again when I go back. In fact I think I will go the whole hog and have my nails, hair and make up done just for the hell of it!! Pam… you can hook me up right? The videographer comes highly recommended and I would also advise that you get the video edited to music. We didn’t actually do this as we were going do this together when we got home, a little project after the wedding. However, to date we have still not done it and have subsequently seen a video which he produced of our wedding for Pam’s website and it is fab! Makes me cry every time I watch it. We got married on the terrace and it is simply stunning, we chose to get married at 5pm as we thought it would be starting to cool down at this time, but actually it was probably the hottest part of the day. I was a little worried about how the day was going to run and how guests were going to know where to be at each stage of the day, but I needn’t have worried as Pam had it all covered… She really was AMAZING. If you have any concerns no matter how big or small discuss them with Pam and she will be sure to put your mind at ease. Our family and friends were blown away by the level dedication shown by both Pam and Francesco… they worked tirelessly to make everything perfect and as the day progressed it was as if they had become part of the family. Well, we are now 9 months on and still have the most incredible memories… our guests still talk about ‘thee’ day and we all agree it was the best wedding day ever, so one last time…. Grazie Pam e Francesco…. We were planning to come back for our first wedding anniversary in September but have recently discovered we are expecting a baby, so it’s off the cards this year, but we will be sure to visit with the bambino and have Francesco take some wonderful photos for us J In the meantime buona fortuna (good luck) to everyone planning their wedding. Hi Pam , I want to express my sincere gratitude to you after our recent trip to Malcesine to plan our wedding. Everything was amazing, and will be amazing for next year and that is down to YOU!! From the first email I sent I knew Romantic Weddings was who I wanted to plan my wedding with. No questions are left unanswered, no query is too big or small. Pam you’re a lovely lady who is very endearing and helpful, so THANK YOU! You gave us your time to show us the castle, various reception venues, we even heard our wedding band play....and for the photo shoot, the photos are brilliant and that's down to the photographer guidance, which we really appreciated. The response from family and friends was brilliant!! Thank you so much and we can't wait until August 2013. Hi Pam and co. It has been six months since our wedding day and we are still on cloud nine!! I could not recommend you and company enough. Pam provides excellent assistance from the day of enquiry of your wedding day right through until the ceremony. From landing in Italy the service was first class, she provided my guests and I with the essentials of the day (hair, flowers, dry cleaners, transport, recommended pre-wedding bars). The day itself was totally stress free as Pam had organised directions to the reception, supported with reception layout and translated all of our needs to the restaurant owners. The photographer produced amazing photographs before, during and after the ceremony. Overall outstanding value for money and exceptional service and would highly recommend to anyone who is searching for “A Romantic wedding on Lake Garda”. Mr & Mrs Stothart
